| Vocational
Training Program
(Sub-Contract Work) Dale
Rogers' Vocational Training Program provides individuals with meaningful,
productive, and compensated work. It also offers the Oklahoma City business
community many opportunities to engage reliable contract and subcontract
labor. The Agency offers a skilled labor force. The individuals are trained
in light industrial manufacturing, assembling, collating, shrink wrap and
other product packaging and shipping. Dale Rogers Training Center has a
fully equipped loading dock and a commercial delivery truck. |

Prism Place (Acrylic
Manufacturing)
www.prismplace.orgPrism Place is Dale Rogers' most creative area of
manufacturing. Individuals at Prism Place produce some of the finest acrylic
awards and gifts in the Southwest. Items produced at Prism Place are sold
throughout the United States and internationally. Dale Rogers Training
Center is an approved Government Service Administration vendor. |
| Mobile Workforce
This
program is designed for individuals who receive Medicaid wavier funding,
either the Community-based Waiver or the In-Home Supports Waiver.
Individuals in the program train in the Vocational Services Program and
volunteer sites and as part of an enclave at the work site, as well as eat
lunch within the community. This training enables the individuals to gain
experience and knowledge of all aspects of employment. |
| Special Needs Program
The
Special Needs Program offers individuals with more involved disabilities
socialization, life skills training, subcontract work within the Vocational
Services Program and access to generic community activities. Personal Care
assistance is available for individuals who require support with eating,
toileting, etc. This program is also designed to assist individuals as they
transition from a work or training environment. |
School-To-Work Transition Program
The Transition School-To-Work program has been recognized by the
Oklahoma Department of Education and serves many high schools in Oklahoma
City and surrounding areas. This program includes vocational skills
training both in the Vocational Service Program and within the community
that is an essential part in the successful integration of the student
into employment.

| Camp Tumbleweed Summer Program
Camp Tumbleweed is one of the few summer day camps for
teenagers and young adults with developmental disabilities in the Oklahoma
City area. Each year our trained and certified staff provide top quality
care in a summer camp environment. Campers participate in a variety of
activities, such as arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor activities, games,
field trips, and other activities specific to the weekly theme. Two sessions
run June through August with options for full or part-time enrollment. |
| New Horizons Group Training Activities
Each individual has the opportunity to participate in special activities.
These activities are designed to enhance the quality of leisure time and
promote language and social skills. The activities include, but are not
limited to: Hygiene, Nutrition, Cooking, Independent Living, Safety,
Community Awareness and other recreational activities. Special guests and
speakers are also utilized. |
