Deborah Copeland
Coordinator/Consultant
Deborah Copeland serves as a NISH Centralization Coordinator/Consultant in developing a centralized system for all the NISH projects. She works extensively with all five work projects to develop efficiencies, policies and operations that optimize Dale Rogers' resources. Deborah also supervises the Human Resources Department for both the NISH projects and main campus.
Deborah started in the non-profit field, more than 15 years ago, working with people with disabilities. Her broad experience ranges from direct care to three years as Executive Director at another agency. She has a broad base of knowledge and training in disabilities, administration, staff development and program development.
Within the first year of employment, Deborah was recognized by the Board of Directors for her work with the DDSD Survey Team. She has extensive training in the field of rehabilitation including behavior management, case management, NISH Contract Management, NISH documentation of disability and internal investigations. Her most recent work includes the development of "Train the Trainer" a professional training program for the supervisors and leads at the NISH work projects as well as job coaches. Deborah holds a Bachelors of Art Education from the University of Central Florida.
