Prairie Coffee & Spices

Prairie Coffee

Wake up with our custom blend!

In 2015, DRTC teamed up with Neighbors Coffee to produce the custom blended, private label Prairie Coffee.

Prairie Coffee provides job opportunities for people with disabilities by allowing them to package the coffee either by itself or as a gift set with other items.

You may buy Prairie Coffee products online or at DRTC’s Robin’s Corner Gift Shop on our main campus in Oklahoma City.

Makes a great corporate/thank you gift!

Prairie Spices

Our unique nonprofit spice line!

The Prairie Spice gift sets and refills are sold in DRTC’s Robin’s Corner Gift Shop at NW 23rd & Utah Ave. in Oklahoma City, which also features Robin’s Corner Museum exhibit. People with disabilities employed at DRTC either package or produce every product in the Gift Shop.

The goal in creating the Prairie Spices line is to provide a high-quality, made in Oklahoma product that creates additional job opportunities for people with disabilities in Oklahoma.

Everyone has that one person on their shopping list that seemingly has everything and needs nothing. Our spice sets make the perfect gift, even for those hard-to-buy-for loved ones. The Prairie Spice gifts are all priced under $30 and come packaged with a recipe card and a personalized note from a person with a disability.

Our Oklahoma-themed spices are of the highest quality, created in partnership with Felicia of Oklahoma-based Cedar Hill Seasonings.

Every spice is:

  • gluten free
  • non-GMO
  • non-MSG
  • a Made In Oklahoma product

The Prairie Spice line includes:
Prairie Spices Gift Set
Prairie Spice Refills
Prairie Spices Heat of the West Salsa Mix Set
Prairie Spices Chipotle Lime Southwest Dip Set
Prairie Spices Spicy Fiesta Southwest Dip Set
Prairie Spices Boot Kickin BBQ Set

When the owner of the Oklahoma-based Cedar Hill Seasonings, Felicia Schafer, mentioned being stuck with 36,000 green lidded bottles because an order had been canceled, our Executive Director, Connie Thrash McGoodwin, knew a great opportunity when she saw one. The year was 2010 and this was the beginning of a new, creative and delicious business opportunity for DRTC. Connie and Felicia began developing the Prairie Spices line of blended seasonings, with the goal to create a quality product that would help individuals with disabilities gain work skills and earn a paycheck.
